Fear No Molar Tide Here are a couple of patterns that have been producing for me lately on the Sound. I’ve put the shrimp and squid patterns away for the time being and the focus is back on baitfish. Perfect weather, total solitude, fish on back-to-back casts, all of that. I didn’t see any schools of chum fry moving along the shoreline, but the SRCs were blitzing. So they must be present. Luckily, conehead squids are always hatching. This is my favorite time of year on the Puget Sound.
